Also the hurt that would come with him having to be alone (or his whole team/cast could’ve watched with him from another room) would’ve been infinitely less than the feeling that comes with that s*** being said to two black men on stage in front of an entire room and now in front of the world.

Obviously the idea of him being alone and isolated is one that people don’t like but the movies whole crew and family/friends could’ve been there, and this whole s*** would’ve been avoided

Bro it wasn't a Freud slip, the lad should've resist his racist thoughts

Here's the thing (cause some new posters commenting dont get it)

    • Tourettes is a real thing and it can involve people saying very heinous and unsavory things that they cannot control. The guy was on bullshit the entire night (including calling a girl's speech "boring" and telling her to "shut the f*** up"). Some people are saying that people in attendance were warned this would happen (well, judging by Delroy and MBJ reaction, maybe not everyone was warned).

    • There has to be self-awareness by the BAFTA organizers, homeboy's team/family, homeboy himself to know that if you have a type of condition that can make you say the most heinous s*** in public during a nationally televised award event, that you don't have to not attend, but maybe just be in a private more accommodating room. We do this for regular sports events in cities where there's special seating areas for people with certain disabilities so I'm kinda wondering why this idea is or was seen as such a taboo for someone with a condition that would make the award experience 10000x miserable for everyone else in attendance.

In conclusion: F*** BAFTA organizers and his team, they should all get socked in the mouth.

I’m not sure hot to navigate this. On one hand, n word is a no go of course, I feel bad for MJ and big D, and can relate to the feeling of being called that word (granted, most of the time I’ve been called that has been in game lobbies). But at the same time, if the person suffers from a condition where they can’t control what they say, I don’t want to direct anger at them.

I think the guy should’ve been allowed to come, but in a separate room. the people who set this up just let him embarrass/hurt himself and embarrass/hurt other people.

Also the guy should’ve apologize directly if he hasn’t. Not a great a***ogy but If I accidentally hit someone when I was suffering from my own condition , even if it was involuntary, an accident, not malicious, I’d still give a Direct apology.
