you know chadwick boseman would have got the role if he was alive.
can't see them breaking a new actor for this role but it's not to many famous black actors that I think can do this justice
and then they released that garbage HBO documentary as well
Granted, a lot of people have come to recognize that the "documentary" was no more then pedo fanfiction.
People at the end of the day, believe what they wanna believe.
Its frustrating that they literally found zero evidence of him ever hurting children in any capacity and yet some people like my GF believe he's 100% guilty. They raided his entire house and found NOTHING.
he was monitored by the FBI for a full decade and they found nothing whatsoever
I didn’t even know there was a musical
That trial took up a portion of his career whether he did it or not.
If this is going to focus on just the 80s then it’ll be fine.
Beyond that I feel like there’s gonna be some gaps
He was innocent and it would only cover 93-94 and 2003-2005.
The film is inevitably going to have gaps - this is the most famous man in history’s life condensed into 2hrs.
Putting the focus back on MJ as a human and artist is what’s needed. Not focusing for 2hrs on fake child abuse lies

She believes that how so, because of a movie? Is she aware there is nothing to support such a heinous accusation?

Evan Chandler killing himself 6 months after MJ died was no coincidence. He knew he indirectly killed the greatest entertainer of all time through lies and extortion and he couldn't live with the guilt.

yep.
IMO the best biopics don’t focus of their whole life/career they just pick a certain event and show the lead up to that
Would love it if this is, for example just about the making of Thriller leading up to Motown 25

I honestly didn't press it further because I didn't wanna get into a full blown argument about it. I just told her i 100% strongly disagree and that she was wrong and we both kind of left it at that.

that would be so perfect
I think a very heartbreaking, but could be an incredible movie if written & directed by the right person would be the last few years of his life from 2005-2009. Showing how he dealt with his PTSD from the trial and all that. Would be depressing, but an amazing watch. Almost like a character study.
Lifetime tried to do something similar with a movie from his bodyguards POV but you know, it was a lifetime movie.

Yeah just really sad, really puts into perspective how young she was and how little she had done
She seriously had insane potential

Very unfortunate situation
I’m still not convinced that Michael raped those children.
You ask any casual and they talk about it like it’s a sure thing.
He didn't bro the parents just tried to get a bag
All Michael ever did was be a good human and the media and public drove him to suicide
