    Do not trust Fuqua.

There’s big names behind this and a big budget

I will remain hopeful until I see it. It’ll be scrutinised to high hell by absolutely everyone & they know that

This s*** needs to be more like Blonde not Bohemian Rhapsody

Blonde was trash asf imo. Overly long and pretentious with a miscast lead, and some scenes were so melodramatic and over the top it came across as a bad spoof movie of biopics and arthouse dramas.

Andrew Dominik was def feeling himself thinking how edgy and proactive he was being with that flick, f***ing hack. Killing Them Softly is good though.

I would very much hope they do, as someone who actually read the transcripts.

Yeah the name is very weak. Just doesn’t cut it the more I think about it.

    But what would, really?

Assuming the angle this movie seems to want to take, I’m not sure. They’re going the “human” route so they feel like just his name fits

I’d make a different film focusing on his career and artistry album by album and barely cover his personal life outside what’s necessary and call it Thriller. Really focus on capturing him as an entertainer through the lens of the audience in those eras and not our current era and hindsight. And tell the story of the greatest entertainer, not the human, thus Thriller, not Michael.

But with these biopics when you name it anything other than their name it’ll turn to something like Thriller: A Michael Jackson Story

    Studios don’t trust audiences
