yup the mixes are disgraceful, everyone should only listen to them in the mono mix the way theyre meant to be heard. Turning phone setting to mono might sound weird/worse compared to the actual dedicated mono mixes but I'm sure it's still worlds better than the actual stereo mixes

on streaming or just in general? did you try using quotes searching "the beatles in mono" for the box set specifically. or using some random keywords in the search also like 320, aac, rar, zip, descargar, discografia

The 2012 remaster is absolutely awful.

The 2001 remaster done for Invincible is pretty good, though. I like those 2001 versions. It’s a shame the 5.1 mixes never surfaced.
