This is like the 3rd time we’ve played the Bulls in the play in with its short history.

Segment from the pay-walled article/full quote:
Herro and the Heat eventually figured it out, making it through the Play-In Tournament to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. They even showed signs of life in a close Game 2 loss in Cleveland. But Miami’s light dimmed Saturday as the Cavs successfully disconnected Herro from the offense he is tasked with orchestrating.
The Heat’s All-Star guard spent much of the 124-87 Game 3 loss — the most lopsided playoff defeat in franchise history — swimming through a sea of bodies, unable to find the ball as Miami fell into a 3-0 series hole.
Now Herro faces a distinct crossroads, wanting to prove he can lead a team in the postseason while reflecting on what could have been if Butler never forced his way out.
“Obviously, I know I need Jimmy to win. If we had Jimmy right now, I feel like it’d be a completely different situation,” Herro told The Athletic before Game 3. “We probably wouldn’t even be the eighth seed. So finding that middle balance of like, damn, we need him, but also understanding, sh–, that’s his career and what he wants is ultimately his right to want what he wants. It was just tough to be in the middle of both sides."

Nah it's over man I'm shattered must be bad karma
Going to update the op in a day or two, i’ll try to be more active itt now. Glad to see we’ve got an actual squad this year. Our revamped offense has been a “joy” to watch.

Ya that team last year had no business being in the playoffs which is why the play in is f***ing stupid lol.
we here
tyler back tn!
Am i being reasonable to be skeptical about how him and powell fit together? Neither are great defenders but norm has been playing better d this year than tyler ever has. Obviously getting tyler’s scoring output back is a big plus but im kinda on the fence about playing them together for long spurts tbh. Mitchell and norm has worked well because davion is a great poa defender and can handle bigger guards. So taking him out for tyler concerns me on the defensive end.

oh no man, i'm very much on the same page
i trust Spo to figure it out and hopefully control their minutes with/without each other

Gonna be interesting to see how the closing lineups work. Funny you agree because i’ve seen anyone who says otherwise in the heat reddit get s*** on, that sub treats tyler like a god lmfao. Imo we need to be careful giving either him or norm a deal this offseason. Neither one of them has a great track record in the playoffs and i’m opposed to giving them both a deal because i think it’ll be redundant over time.

If they didn't want to pay Jimmy...
But of course Norm is out without a timetable for return now smh
