Go watch highlights of all your pre-1990 championships. Bum ass franchise won 1 chip since the Heat became an expansion team.
Waiting for this Dame trade is killing me š
Ya the suspense is killing me too but Riley is on the phones working his magic so I have faith in him. This is the whale he always speaks of so I know heās all in. Wouldnāt be surprised if this expands into a 4 team trade not just a 3 team one. Barry Jackson said rn herro to BK 5 1sts to Portland and we get dame is a legit possibility.

Quit responding to them bro cuz then they just keep coming back in here lol. If you ignore them they wonāt be able to say s***, let them talk to themselves lol. They are scared only reason they keep coming in here.

Yeah I figured Herro would be going to a 3rd team given how many guards Portland has, itāll get done I just donāt wanna wait for it anymore lol
Jimmy 0-2 in the Finals?
Woj being Portlandās puppet is hilarious
They way the media is going in on our assets is wild

Funny how the media reacts to a star player demanding a trade to Miami

If Riley doesnāt land him tbh he should retire, itās nice weāve made the finals 2 outta 4 years but our contracts are overpaid to

If dame asked to go to Boston,ny,la,or Philly the media would be already showing us jersey swaps of him on espn and talking hypothetical championships. He asks for Miami and everyone starts making a s*** ton of excuses lmfao.

At this point if it doesnāt happen itās cuz portlands gm is willing to shoot himself in the foot and sour the organizations relationship with its best player of the last 20 years. All signs point our way. Itās just a complicated deal so it takes a while, also clearly a lot of posturing going on from the Portland front office to try and raise the price.
portlands gm willingly sent CJ McCollum to his preferred destination, not doing it for dame would be a ridiculously bad look.
Also dames camp keeps leaking that heās not playing anywhere else. His value has already been diminished. Teams around the league who were actually in the position to trade for him (not many of them) are going to be scared to do so for a player who doesnāt want to be there and has multiple years still left on his deal. This isnāt a kawhi like situation. Raptors made that move knowing kawhi only had one year left and needed to keep his value high after missing a bunch of time due to injuries before he left the spurs on a dysfunctional note.

Everyone's saying our trade package is ass and yet I haven't seen one thats better that makes sense for both sides.
Brooklyn isn't giving up 5 FRPs. If they give up 2 or 3 with some players then it isn't better than Heats deal.
Jazz are rebuilding they're not trading all their picks to win now
Spurs are rebuilding they're not trading all their picks to win now
Celtics have Jaylen Brown who has 1 year left so they'd need him to agree to stay long term in Portland (lmao). Without Jaylen, Celtics trade package is more ass than ours.
76ers have only 1 pick (2029), they said Maxey isn't available plus he's a guard which Portland already has, and Portland has no use for Harden or Tobias. Not enough there unless a 3rd team takes Harden for young players or picks. To match Heats offer it'd have to be Maxey + what they get back for Harden + 1 FRP.
Clippers have only 1 first round pick and stars over 30 y.o. they don't have enough unless a 3rd team takes a star (say PG) and they trade their 1 FRP + their PG return.
The only interesting one to me is if Zion is on the table.... but Zion might be more valuable than Dame. Portland might have to give more in that scenario.
The Heat are talking 2 FRP, Lowry (expiring 30Ms),Herro, Caleb, Jovic or Jaime, plus taking Nurkic off you which is worth a 1st in value.
Unless you convince Jaylen to stay in Portland, Zion becomes available, or 76ers get enough from a Harden trade to pair with Maxey in a package, then Heat actually do have the best offer.

Oh I agree, for Portland to spurn Dame after all these years would be a horrible look. He's the best and most popular player to ever wear a Blazers uniform.
But I still don't like some of these contracts Riley and Co. signed off on and it certainly can make trades more difficult if not for Dame than other players down the line.

Heās also 32 on a huge contract. Iām not sure why people think unloading so many assets for Dame would make any sense for most of the teams you just listed

Zionās value is shot around the league because heās never healthy. Dude has missed around 70% of games in his career. 194 to be exact.
Also Boston is going to offer brown that extension heās due for, letās say they donāt. Heās going to be pissed and he wonāt be saying trade me to one of the worst teams in the league in Portland like you said. Boston being apart of this is just the media trying to help them out per usual.
Exactly what anyone with half a brain is saying now, Iād ignore all the posturing going on rn. Thatās what happens on all these kinds of trades.

You get the stars and figure the rest out later. Thatās always been Rileyās Method. Also our developmental staff being the best in the league makes alot this stuff simpler. We churn out solid role players more than anyone.
