He didnt write 5 songs. Did he write The Ride and Good Ones Go? Its just background vocals/using his vocals as a sample. Crew Love was a feat. He didnt write Drakes verse. He HELPED write Practice and Shot For Me

Idk why people are holding onto Abel’s contributions to Take Care when Drake has consistently done better than Take Care with NWTS, IYRTITL, More Life, Her Loss, and Scorpion

It’s not being an Abel Stan. Drake set a precedent with miller. I just saw an interview of him sharing he never got officially paid for anything with publishing EVER and just under the table.
Miller said that Drake paid him under the table cause of a bad deal he took before ever meeting Drake. He just recently got out of that deal. They took all of his money that he was supposed to make from IYRTITL

He doesn't have a solo album that comes close to Take Care's impact and legacy and if you wanna argue that his contributions to the album mattered in any real way, I'd argue that if you take away the 4 songs he contributed to and add in 4 other songs from that era (Dreams Money Can Buy, Club Paradise, Trust Issues & Free Spirit), Take Care becomes an even stronger album.

Drake has gotten better after every album cept views but then again, I can easily go back through weeknds whole discog but for me it’s hard to go back to a old Drake album. Like past 2 years.
