I'm not wishing for it but I'm tired of it happening to young great artists.
In alternate universe Nipsey won a Grammy and went on to buy a vynil pressing factory and is putting underground niggas on to vertical integration and taking out middle men in music.
In a different universe takeoff is giving college lectures in Harvard on how voices became instruments in Hip Hop. S*** artist like Common and 9th been doing. Or imagine a commercial in 2035 where Takeoffs Momma ad lib is used to remind people about mothers day like salt n Peppa did too.
All I'm saying is that Im tired of artist not reaching their destined greatness.

Definitely did, might be less than DAMN. but same could be said for any new album when compared to 5 years ago.

It was largely forgettable. Didn't even have a standalone hit that endured when the rest of the album was forgotten.

Dec 3, 2022·editedI think we should look that the collaborations in this less as features and more as a main cast (Don, Future, Thug, Travis, 21, Rocky) and features (Takeoff, CB, The Weeknd, Mustafa, Nudy)
It makes a lot more sense in that respect and while I do wish there was more collaboration, the approach here made for a way more concrete and grounded direction

SinceKumbayaHL clearly better. Unless you're just somebody who generally dislikes / downplays Drake.
Better hits / banger type songs, better deep cuts, no real skips that nobody is f***ing with.
I like Drake and I like Her Loss but it’s say it’s just pretty good just like this Metro album
The only thing it’s missing is a Hours In Silence level song and it’s on the same level
