If you did a poll of people online and asked people if they liked Mr. Morale, I think the number of people who liked it would be way closer to 5-6 out of every 10 than 3
Admittedly for that project it was definitely more divisive, but it’s completely delusional to act like almost nobody liked it. That’s an online narrative if I’ve ever seen it.

If people actually didn’t f*** with the album, they wouldn’t have paid the ticket prices to see him. Chance The Rapper tried to tour arenas with an album people actually didn’t like and the tour flopped so bad he cancelled it.
The actual number in real life is 30/70. Yes I said real life, not KTT2 where nerds act like everything except for Drake and street rap is trash.
I know that Kendrick pulls crowds, I watched Kendrick perform most of Mr Morale in a sea of people. But he’s Kendrick f***ing Lamar. He’s the goat, and Mr Morale was weak compared to that status he holds. I’ll give you 30/70 tho. And hey, maybe people (including myself) will go back to the album in time and it’ll grow on some of us.
My main point is that Her Loss is resonating and hitting much more than Mr Morale. I’m not here to judge the artistry, I just prefer the music on Her Loss.

I disagree about your personal assessment of the album but I appreciate you being able to recognize the difference between how you personally feel versus the masses. Some on here can’t do that.

Because Ticketmaster was asking for ALOT of money and people aren’t paying Ticketmaster resale BS prices for something they don’t like atleast a little. It was the MR. MORALE AND THE BIGGER STEPPERS tour after all, so they would’ve been idiots to pay the amount they did to go to a show that was mainly the album they didn’t like.

Has that ever happened to an artist on kendrick’s level before? Seems too drastic and unrealistic. Mr. Morale isn’t trash but kendrick definitely has the type of catalog that he’s solidified and will sell well no matter is what i’m saying.
