nigga just made up a whole scenario to d***ride drake lmfao
no one does that at all
Putting Heroes & Villains below Shock Value 2 is just pure hater s*** lol
Shock Value 1 had a few classics on it but Shock Value 2 was basically dogshit from the top down. Even Timbo conceded that it didn't live up to the first one
Heroes & Villains better than both but it shouldn't even be controversial to say that it's better than the second one lmao. The delusion it takes to argue otherwise is concerning
And who produced the bulk of Monster, WATTBA, and DS2, the three most acclaimed and popular projects in this lineup
it don’t matter man. without that man’s work ethic none of that is happening.
Putting Heroes & Villains below Shock Value 2 is just pure hater s*** lol
this is shock value 2’s legacy

A lot of this animosity comes from people not respecting producers enough lol
Where would Drake be without 40? Where would Three 6 Mafia be without DJ Paul & Juicy J? Where would Gucci Mane be without Zaytoven? Where would Travis Scott be without Mike Dean? Where would Snoop Dogg be without Dr. Dre? Where would Lil Wayne be without Bangladesh and/or Mannie Fresh? UGK without Pimp C? Gang Starr without DJ Premier? Y'all need both halves to succeed, and frankly, having a dope producer is way more important than a dope lyricist/vocalist because that vocal performance isn't gonna mean s*** without good production
this is shock value 2’s legacy

Timbo still GOATed though
and never fell off
Shock Value 2 is just not that good
Future would have survived with or without Metro but if y'all don't think Metro's role in Monster, DS2, and "Low Life" didn't set this man over the edge commercially, and edge he would have probably never crossed without Metro's input, y'all are crazy
Metro gave Future his signature sound. Future had his own style way before Metro, but all the pieces came together on 10/28/2014
as for monster, no, but about the other 2 projects u are right even though they were more of a victory lap imo. as for "signature sound" i'd credit southside just as much as metro

I'd credit Southside heavily too, but at the end of the day the biggest hits from Future, many of which are some of his best songs to boot, are produced by Metro
nigga just made up a whole scenario to d***ride drake lmfao
"drake helped them early in their with collabs"
is making up a scenario ? i swear drake haters are among the weirdest people on the next. they are gonna fight even the most harmless arguments just be against drake or not give him props
The rapping on Her Loss is better than any of the vocal performances on H&V by a huge margin
The cohesiveness and production on H&V is running laps around Her Loss
If you say so Mr. Skinn Foley*
Please capitalize my last name OVOJersey, thank you

What album cohesion?? This an album discussion not an advertisement for 3M products

The flow of H&V is cinematic as hell
Her Loss is a good project, as is H&V. I don't consider either to be classics
Gun to my head I'm giving a narrow advantage to H&V on the grounds of how well the production flows track after track. Neither albums are lyrical tour-de-forces so I'm not too focused on the bars one way or the other, though the rapping on Her Loss is significantly better than anything on H&V

Drake was the one begging Future and Metro to be on their songs lol

respectfully disagree w/ this her loss is actually one of the best sequences drake related projects in a generation tbf.. if you wanna give metro the production edge that's fine but her loss got bars for dayssss.. broke boys?
Drake was the one begging Future and Metro to be on their songs lol
I was joking about Drake being a "street rapper" obviously but his ability to maneuver within trap music and work with street artists was cemented by his collaboration with Future, and Metro by proxy lol
It was mutually beneficial and probably benefitted Future more than Drake at day's end, but Drake's ability to penetrate into the trap market in any capacity starts with his Future collabs, that were produced by Metro
