Mgs 2 and 3 best looking game on ps2
(And 2 came out at the BEGINNING of the that console life cycle)
Mgs4 one of the best looking games. On ps3 (at that point naughty dog and SSM were on point as well with Uncharted 2/3 and God of War 3/Ascension)

But yeah Kojima and his teams have always figured out how to squeeze as much juice out of these consoles
