Are you sure that it was about switch 2 and not the original switch 1 release? Cause i don't remember anything like that, even trying to look it up, the a***ysis videos on the release of the switch 2 updates show flawless 60fps on both mgs 2 and 3

Oh yea i mean the switch 2 wasnt out when the first volume dropped lol, it was stuck with no fixes for almost 2 years. they dropped a patch for Switch 2 i never played the patch though. Im just cautious because of how bad it was on switch 1 and also mgs4 is much more demannding then the other titles

I want it preferably on the switch 2 im fine with 30 fps but at launch on switch 1 the games were so buggy that i cant really depend on this studio to deliver on day 1 without reviews

I wouldnt worry about switch 2 at all. If you're playing on switch 1 sure, but switch 2 Will definitely get 60fps, unless its a disaster on every console like the GTA collection was

I have never played MGS4 and thought I’d never would. Being able to have my first play through on switch 2 is surreal

it's a good conclusion and a great game, but it's very much Kojima's mid-life crisis. This series is my all-time favorite gaming series. Lots of people say MGS4 is him "off the leash" when criticizing the game, but I think it's kinda the opposite. I think it's a game all about the push and pull of feeling like a slave to expectations and legacies. And the messy quality of the game, I think, largely is intentional, but I still don't personally think it holds up as well to the others. I think it has this legendary quality to it because of how monumental it was when it came out, and I think this release will weaken some of that reputation. I don't think any Metal Gear game directed by Kojima is under like an 8/10 tbf

But I also haven't played it in 60fps on my PC....so maybe I'm wrong and it's fully peak

Man I remember the wait and anticipation of this game like yesterday. College days. Roomates, Myspace, ps3/360 days. Ugh. I'd love to go back to that time . The whole mystery of if this was ever going to come to Xbox 360.
And Kojima I'm not gonna say he fell off but he hasn't made anything like mgs4 since. All the games are menu driven now. I want that linearity back

Remake of 3 is not so good so far. Its the little things like not being able to crouch or crawl and quick attack. You have to aim to use your knife while crouched or crawling.

When using legacy controls you cant lower your gun after aiming even though they remapped it to the a***og trigger.

Im sure ill find more little details that they missed....

My biggest let down was lack of vibe s*** looks like AI slop Even with legacy filter but still amazing title
