Are you sure that it was about switch 2 and not the original switch 1 release? Cause i don't remember anything like that, even trying to look it up, the a***ysis videos on the release of the switch 2 updates show flawless 60fps on both mgs 2 and 3

Oh yea i mean the switch 2 wasnt out when the first volume dropped lol, it was stuck with no fixes for almost 2 years. they dropped a patch for Switch 2 i never played the patch though. Im just cautious because of how bad it was on switch 1 and also mgs4 is much more demannding then the other titles

I want it preferably on the switch 2 im fine with 30 fps but at launch on switch 1 the games were so buggy that i cant really depend on this studio to deliver on day 1 without reviews

I wouldnt worry about switch 2 at all. If you're playing on switch 1 sure, but switch 2 Will definitely get 60fps, unless its a disaster on every console like the GTA collection was

I have never played MGS4 and thought I’d never would. Being able to have my first play through on switch 2 is surreal

it's a good conclusion and a great game, but it's very much Kojima's mid-life crisis. This series is my all-time favorite gaming series. Lots of people say MGS4 is him "off the leash" when criticizing the game, but I think it's kinda the opposite. I think it's a game all about the push and pull of feeling like a slave to expectations and legacies. And the messy quality of the game, I think, largely is intentional, but I still don't personally think it holds up as well to the others. I think it has this legendary quality to it because of how monumental it was when it came out, and I think this release will weaken some of that reputation. I don't think any Metal Gear game directed by Kojima is under like an 8/10 tbf

But I also haven't played it in 60fps on my PC....so maybe I'm wrong and it's fully peak
