I just believe people in general are awful. There’s no guarantee of safety regardless. You can’t generalize anybody for the actions of a minority, that is how issues of racism, sexism, classism are still rampant in society.

I may not know what it’s like to be a woman in these scenarios but in my personal experience I have very rarely felt comfortably safe in any public area also, and I feel less and less safe as time has gone on.
