I see this with any story involving women and men, both genders lie yes but for some reason when it comes to rape and violence towards women it’s never believed unless it’s video evidence or a direct witness to the crime.

My aunts ex husband beat the s*** out of her in front of me and their son (we were little) because she came home an hour late from work due to being a tuck in traffic and literally everybody including other family members didn’t believe her and the sad s*** is me and my cousin never told people what we witnessed and defended my then uncle too who also denied it and swore to god. then he brainwashed her and made her tell people he didn’t beat her either.

S*** is weird bruh, even I’m on the fence at times when believing women even when I know like 90% of the time they’re not lying in situations of being raped or violently beat. And the only reason I say most don’t lie, is because it’s hard to prove and the abuser rarely faces consequences due to the long and costly process of trying to prove it.

TLDR: b****es be lying, but alot of them tell the truth when speaking on abuse
