We are on a 15-minute break after Deputy DA Alexander Bott gave his closing argument. He began and ended with what he said this case is all about: Megan Pete, aka Megan Thee Stallion. Jurors saw a PowerPoint slide with a photo of Meg and a quote from her testimony last week.
"If I would have known that coming out and speaking my truth would come with people agreeing with me being shot, if I would known, I would have started to lose my confidence" and started to feel like damn, maybe I should be dead - Meg's testimony displayed for jury.
They found Justin, too bad we’re already doing closing statements

Crying, they both really vacationed together then popped up last minute.
the last hot person on this decrepit forum
Why is Megan the representative of all women based off this case? Like why is it a case in which if she wins it’s a win for women or if she loses it’s misogyny?? I see a bunch of dumb drunks fought and someone shot at someone (unconfirmed yet) accidentally(?) so why all that fuss?

Deputy DA Bott told the jury that, "after more than two years of this torture" for Megan Thee Stallion, it's finally time to hold Tory Lanez "accountable for his crimes."
"I want everybody to really think back to last Tuesday. That's when Meg testified," Bott said.
Bott said Megan had her guard up when she began testifying in the morning, but after the lunch break, "those walls came down."
"I think everybody in this courtroom felt something that day," Bott said.
"This is the critical question in this case: Was Meg telling the truth that afternoon?" Bott asked. "I think everybody in this courtroom knows the answer to that question."
Bott displayed more testimony quotes from Meg and said, "If you believe Megan and what she said last Tuesday, this case is over. We're done. If you believe Megan, that's enough."

And the Oscar goes to

Seems like a strange way to frame it
Who are these 3 to 4 people ?
Meg, Kelsey in her statement that she totally forgot somehow come trial, and even the eye witness across the street saw the little man shooting the gun.

They not even trying anymore

its crazy how the context of this really sucked all of the radicalism out of what should have been a semi radical display on a public stage and instead turned it into weird self-aggrandizing promotion. By comparison I think of the Dixie Chicks Iraq War comments for example in 2003, of which they were genuinely blacklisted from the entire industry for at the time. Even if you're in the right, doing a protest almost literally for yourself will never do anything to foster change in discourse

That's like saying she was lying in the morning and started telling the truth after she had a big mac and a bottle of champagne for lunch.

There should be zero fuss about this case.

She went to lunch with Hov and Meryl Streep coaching her, then she killed it

Kelsey - if ur taken her previous testimony which is pretty much meaningless now then yeah

They're really trying to guilt the jury into it
