This was always going to be the angle whenever doubt began to rise.

It annoys me because she still did get actually shot. And I'm sure Tory did some f***ed up things during their relationship. So it's not like the truth wouldn't have garnered sympathy, and saying "I don't remember that night clearly because I was drunk" would have been reasonable. But her story made Tory sound like an unambiguously violent abuser. So I've been thinking of Tory as this homicidal maniac for months because she was so confident on social media and all her public statements that he was shooting her on purpose in a fit of rage. To find out that the night didn't go down remotely like she said it did is heartbreaking.
