Tory Lanez’s Alleged Assault of August Alsina Being Investigated by Los Angeles D.A.

According to Tory’s defense. Tory said Megan knew about him and Kelsey. Why would Megan be so scorned if she was after Kelsey and supposedly wanted to keep things under wraps. Kelsey are not on good terms, she has no reason to protect Kelsey and solely go after Tory. Mind you he just got outed for assaulting August over nothing. Before that he was accused by his child’s mother of physical assault and said he has a history of being violent. You’re so quick to believe violent Tory is innocent. You’re saying Meg is trying to be the victim when she actually is. You’re biased because you already made up your mind that he’s innocent.

FULL SUMMARY (Morning)

Kelsey Harris testimony at Tory Lanez trial began with her showing up with an attorney and asking for immunity. It was granted even after the DA swore they had no intent to prosecute her.

No explanation as to what the immunity is for. No comment from Lanez’s defense attorney and Harris and her attorney fled the hallway before they could be approached by reporters.

Kelsey spent a little less than 40 minutes on the stand, saying a lot of her memory of the party was “blurry” because of alcohol consumption. She accused Megan of lying about her and called accusations she shot Megan “ridiculous.”

Kelsey said Megan encouraged her to date Tory and they had s***multiple times.

Tory, Megan and Kelsey were all fighting and calling each other names after Kylie told her to get out.

Kelsey and Megan started fighting over disloyalty after Tory exposed he was f***ing both of them.

Tory threatened to shoot Kelsey and when asked what did she say after he threatened to shoot her, she invoked the 5th and refused to answer.

Kelsey expressed she don't want to be here after invoking the 5th. When the prosecutor asked "how do you feel about Tory being here", she responded, "it don't bother her that hes here."

Court broke not long after this. On two key points (whether Lanez threatened her, whether Lanez called her and Megan “bitches and hos”), Kelsey was non responsive until DDA reminded her she confirmed both those things in a September 2022 interview with the prosecution.

Court will resume at 1:30. Will see if the DA’s office explains the immunity issue before then.

FULL SUMMARY (Late Afternoon)

On afternoon break at Tory Lanez trial: Kelsey Harris’ testimony has been a lot of I don’t recalls and at least one more (failed) attempt to plead the 5th. She’s saying she doesn’t remember things she said to prosecutors during a September interview, which was recorded.

Critically, she wouldn’t confirm she saw Lanez with the gun (which she said in the recorded interview) or that Lanez threatened to shoot her (which she said in the recorded interview). Recordings have been played in court.

Harris is saying she’s struggling with postpartum depression and a recent death in the family and her “mind isn’t here right now.” She also denied Lanez offered her hush money (which Megan alleged he did to the tune of $1 million yesterday.)

Judge has directed, at this time, that the jury CANNOT consider the recordings of Harris’ prior interview with the D.A.’s office as evidence.

“Our interview was not 100% truthful,” Harris said of her prior interview though she hasn’t said what specifically is inaccurate. She has flat out denied shooting at Megan.

She still has to answer more questions from the prosecutors and then the cross examination today.

She threw the prosecution off by pleading the 5th and claiming she doesn't remember alot of the events. So most of yesterday was just the prosecutors trying to ask the same kinds of questions over and over again until the judge couldn't take it and dismissed everyone.

We'll see how the prosecutors approach today and see how Kelsey responds.

There were suppose to be more witnesses today but Kelsey could spend the entire day on the stand again.
