Sooo emotion. Got it
Sooo emotion. Got it
explain why in detail
Way less harsh punishing
More focus on rehabilitation
No conviction by jury, just by 1 life long judge. This means way less appeal to emotion and acting.
burden of proof can't just be discounted as law s***. without that, a crazy amount of people would be in jail for crimes they didn't commit, and there's already too many people in jail now for false allegations. justice system isn't perfect, but it's one of the best there is in the world
This nasty s*** lmao
Back to the trial.
Everybody lost lol
Any developments since 12 hrs ago?

Everyone has bias

Yes
Do you believe a jury of 12 ‘regular’ people who dont even want to be there can be biased?
You can't run away from bias.

Yea, I’m on call with the judge rn he said “everybody lost, ktt next”
do you believe a judge can be biased?
Yes. We have seen countless white young males get slaps on the wrist for serious crimes because they made a "mistake"
Everyone has bias
should convictions be based on 1 person's biases vs. a collective of people that even each other out based on personal beliefs

If so I never seen it go from a weekend mute to just a straight up perma when the interaction itself didn't see him use any foul or derogatory terms towards yourself or the others involved in the case

Convictions should be based on facts and Proof.

Do you believe a jury of 12 ‘regular’ people who dont even want to be there can be biased?
I believe their biases are more likely to be evened out with group discussions of presented information compared to 1 person whose beliefs are NEVER challenged by anyone for their entire career
From an american perspective i understand distrusting judges considering you have reality shows with celebrity judges
Thats unthinkable in most countries
Convictions should be based on facts and Proof.
and who should determine if there is enough facts and proof in your ideal system?
