Yeah b. Kinda have a hard time believing they're gonna be able to find enough to discount: GSR, texts, phone calls, a hot gun, bullets, witness accounts from people in the area, and Tory himself saying that the other person who could've done the shooting did not actually do the shooting.

Nobody is saying Meg wasn't shot. The question is if Tory did it. If you're gonna believe Tory when he said it wasn't the other girl, you gonna believe him when he says it wasn't him?

There's too much bullshit in the case. There also was the driver present.

To be fair there was GSR found on her as well. However Tory did also say that Kelsey didn't shoot Meg so...

Ya know if Tory said Kelsey ain't shoot her...Meg said Kelsey ain't shoot her...and there seems to be only one person who said Tory did the shooting in a text five minutes after the shooting took place...aye man just let the lawyers and detectives itt come to a logical conclusion lol

Her credibility doesn’t need that much scrutiny because there is a witness and people in the area who heard the gunshots

For the people saying Megan/Tory's romantic/sexual relationship being public knowledge doesn't matter, y'all are wrong. It absolutely does.

Even after Megan told the initial set of lies about not being involved with Tory, not being shot at, etc, when she eventually got her story straight, she could have come out to explain her relationship with him. Why? It gives context to why they were together that night, why the fight/argument happened and she could have easily explained why she was even involved with him — she could have said something like "we bonded over both of us losing our mothers" or whatever else she wanted to say and just explain so people had more of the big picture around what happened. Yes, the jokes would fly around her messing with a short dude like Tory but people would eventually get over it. Now, after lying about not being involved with him in any way in a highly-publicized interview with Gayle King and several print media interviews, in the court, she has admitted to being involved with him. This allows Tory's defense to use that as proof of her having a history of lying. See why lying in situations like this doesn't help?

Telling the whole truth from jump would have left less holes in her story and would have gotten her even more public support and sympathy.

Instead, she told lies when she really didn't need to and made a whole group of people who might have otherwise believed her story, doubt her. And now, the case has gone to trial and Tory's lawyers are having a field day poking holes in her story. Smh.

You guys are confusing this case because you’re too involved as fans

Meg is not on trial nor are those her lawyers. She’s just a component as a witness and victim. The state prosecution needs to prove he did it. They’re using her story, Kelsey’s story, evidence and texts. Can these all combine to prove it was Tory’s gun and he shot her is the question not simply her inconsistencies/truth

I doubt this comes to one juror holding deliberation up. I doubt every single person will go in on the same page, but all will likely be convinced whichever way it goes after talking

I’m not a fan of any of these people. Jury trials (which I have been apart of isn’t about the truth). It’s about which side is more believable.

I know this for a 100 percent certainty. All it take is for one person to believe that she isn’t telling the entire truth and he gets off.
