Definitely had many moments of the movie that dragged, no need for this to be a three hour long movie. But it was wrapping up 10+ years worth character arcs and stories, so they just wanted to milk as much of it as they could. And they did just that.

If all of this happened in the midst of a chaotic struggle then it’s either no one’s fault (the likely truth) or someone needs to get blamed. We already know it won’t be Meg found at fault because she’s the one injured. It comes down to Tory or her friend. Both sides have probably tried to pay her to rock with their narrative.

It’s too late to say no one was at fault because Meg’s team (again, I blame Roc and their desperate push to keep their artist in a positive light) has been clinging to the “Tory purposely harmed Meg” narrative since the beginning.

While lyrics are used against rappers in certain cases most people would agree that art should not be penalized. Hip Hop tends to be the only genre that is policed, which in itself is Problematic as it is clear evidence of systemic racism and targeting. However, if an artist is dumb enough to talk about a murder they committed, then I can see the logic why in certain cases lyrics can be used a evidence.
