were they dating? i thought they were friends, not that it matters
its rumored no one actually knows for sure
they're still on the lower spectrum of a lot of said "advantages" though
it's not like Black woman are out here making 6 figures at McDonalds and not getting harrassed by the police
The gap in education between black women and black men is the widest it is out of any other ethnic group
were they dating? i thought they were friends, not that it matters
they might have been doing sexual s*** cause they were naked
Bruh s*** is just rumors, People can’t wait for the whole story to come out smh
I dont like that graph because theres two bars for black men, just combine it to show how big the disparity really is
I like it because it specifies how often black men are targeted by the system before they turn 18 which is completely accurate.
More educated
Higher earning
Lower incarceration rates
Less likely to be shot
Less likely to be assualted by police
Less likely to commit suicide
Less likely to be homeless
you'd be surprised how many black women have been sexually harassed or assaulted by police
Treating black men and boys as if they're a***ogous to white folks or the police is the problem, treating IPV and sexual abuse as if they're tools for social hierarchy is the problem.
It sound's like it came straight out of a White Supremacist "Divide and Conquer" handbook and people keep running with it.
Please do
Adhering comparisons of black men to the white race is a surface level and racist take on gender discrimination. It's lazy and dehumanizing. That same logic/stereotype is what got Emmit Till killed and his accuser free to live on. That same logic justifies mass incarceration and disproportionate police murders.
Male privilege is just that. It isn't specific to race and it's insulting and racist to believe that it is.
The real problem is too many folks go to college and sit in a sociology class for a semester and come out thinking they're gender studies scholars.
You ready for another livestream rant?

The gap in education between black women and black men is the widest it is out of any other ethnic group
sure, but the education gap between most groups and black men are pretty wide
it's less of an advantage for Black women and more of a glaring example for how the system has oppressed Black men
Anyone comparing black men to white people is an idiot
that sounds like something a white person would say how dont u see it bro !!!
To put a whole ass problem of women being mistreated on a isolated incident between a couple of grade A idiots like these two is funny lol

Nah bro do a stream and invite me, I want all the smoke
Ima be the white man of black people and censor you negros from having this debate
so your issue is more with word selection and not the actual gripes black women are calling out? i can dig that but i also think the focus should be on what they're actually trying to say to us and not necessarily how they say it. sure the word "oppress" may not be the best fit, but the idea remains valid.
I don’t have a problem with it at all. They’ve earned the right to say whatever they want to say, however they please. I was just saying it’s wrong that’s all
The idea is valid though, we agree on that
I agree 100%. But that’s nothing to do with black men.
But it’s paramount that we acknowledge this when we fight for liberation
All of these structures need to be dismantled and we have to come to terms with our ability to enact change and not take these kinds statements to heart
Racism can’t be fully dismantled unless we’re also dismantling the capitalistic structure that’s apparent in this country.
We need black women in this fight and to do that we also have to attack the sexist oppression within our own community.
Black men don’t really hold the power to be “oppressors” but we’re silent partners by upholding capitalism which IMO is the main oppressive system in this country
