I love Kendrick, so I have no problem with him being the undisputed “winner” and s***, but it’s disappointing that the beef kinda soured both J Cole and especially Drake in my eyes.
J Cole did the musical equivalent of tweeting and deleting (not too bad, since I don’t listen to him much, I guess)
And Drake took things way too far, and then tried to sue when things didn’t go his way, and Kendrick responded in kind. That part is really rough, because I actually like a lot of the Drake music. I still listen, but it’s harder to enjoy it knowing how hard he got beaten, and that he kinda deserved it.

I wouldn't say Drake deserved it as I am sure his intentions were good

But yeah it seems like his actions didn't come across how he probably meant them too and it gave Kendrick the opportunity to slander him to the general public

It's a sad situation

I guess maybe Drake thought since most of what’s said in beefs isn’t true, he could just talk crazy about Kendrick’s family.
Even still though, I feel like he should have known better.
In the past people who go the super extreme scorched earth route first usually regret it later (Jay Z with the entirety of Supa Ugly and later having to apologize through tears on air, Ja Rule with the part of Loose Change where he disses Eminem’s young daughter resulting in Eminem getting involved and hurting his mainstream prospects in addition to everything 50 was doing, etc.)
It just automatically makes whatever your opponent does to you okay in the public’s eyes since you took it there first.
