“ flop to prevent another one “ they soLd 50$ NFTs to 100,000 users and the site crashed . I think you are sorely confused if you think the box office decides the future of the matrix
i would rather watch trippie redd & sofaygo in matrix cosplay for 2h than another Lana movie
when smith was fighting neo and he ripped the sink out the wall to smash it over neo head just like batman did to superman in bvs
"if you didn't like it you didn't understand it"
Help me understand why it literally follows the marvel formula to A to Z
something as creative as the matrix can NEVER be recreated. how do you go back and make something like the matrix again. something that is so heavily contested in entertainment. something the own fans of the series have seem to twisted into fitting their own narrative. lana is literally showing you what a matrix 4 in the hands of wb and other creatives would turn out to be. a literal reboot. but the way lana creates her sequel (again this isnt a reboot but a continuation to the story) is showing you the torment the movie would go through without her. a story with nostalgia shoved down you. a series of casting younger actors to appeal to younger audiences. its her way of telling you, a grown man, that you dont need these films anymore, they dont need to he made to make a quick buck. you can move on and never watch another matrix movie again and be OK with life. why Lana does need to be consistently brigaded by WB to make another film, why is she threatened to either make another matrix or be stripped from one of her greatest accomplishments and reduced to a Thank you in the credits. The movie was never supposed to blow away like the other ones. It’s about closure it’s about putting an end to these movies It’s about moving on. But most importantly it’s a love story and it concludes that beautifully just like the original trilogy explain would happen.
this movie i really like actually but it has some glaring problems it could have been another perfect sequel to me if it was reworked a little

We get all that, a lot of us think it wasn’t executed well. Comes across cheesy and doesnt really have the feel of the trilogy.
