movies gonna be a fire back to back watch imo. Yo what was your fave movies this year?
What was yours?
Roads been too gnarly to risk death driving to the cinema since Spiderman/LP/Macbeth came out
historic flooding a month ago f***ed s*** up up everywhere
It does suck that one feels incomplete but them together will hit so much more
I’m going to read book too . Without the book or any prior knowledge it makes sense but it doesn’t slap . Especially with all those cut scenes
Green Knight was dope Spencer was dope
I need to watch a lot
Yeah you're the only person I've heard say that
True, I must have just took this year off then.

Off of personal enjoyment? I didn't get to see Macbeth yet.
But LP is tied with Nightmare Alley for my #10

If you read the book you'll have more understanding of the series lore but nitpick about what they chose to leave out (I did anyway
)
I also grew up on Lynch's version

I did really like No Time To Die but I have big Bond bias
Is that a good thing?
When has getting hit with a wet sock ever been a good thing
When has getting hit with a wet sock ever been a good thing
Idk some people say movies slap and that’s a good thing lol
Is that a good thing?
I was gonna ask same
I got to watch a lot of movies. I got anime to watch first though

Danggggg
No Time To Die and Last Duel didnt really justify their existence to me
not bad
I'll check out C'mon asap

If it hit me like a brick
that's a good thing
When Green Knight ended (and Bond and Last Duel) I felt little to nothing

C'mon C'mon one of Joaquin's best performances for me man. Really dope. No Time To Die's villain was weak but everything else was a dope send off to me.
Last Duel is dope as hell to me, the only thing really throwing me off was the accents lmao but I like how Ridley Scott's seen as a "dudes rock director" when a lot of his movies are about how dudes suck lol

If it was an homage to Rashomon then yeah it's gotta be dudes suck
the accents and disregard for language killed my immersion heavily. Also the haircuts.
