I will always appreciate a wachowski film because they at least try to go crazy with camera work and fx each time. Sometimes they miss but I gotta give them credit

I mean get all that don't get me wrong, but you can have that kind of messaging and still have the movie look good, I don't think they have to be mutually exclusive
considering the original trilogy are some of the most visually stylish and unique films ever made, I think it's fair to be disappointed with the film's visual/technical aspects
and just to be clear, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this having a different visual style than the originals either, I just wish that style was stronger is all

Yahya did a better smith in first few minutes than groff in many ways but griff wasn’t terrible just not fully smith like or brutal

I really liked it
Like I said, questionable cinematography, pacing, & CGI at times, but overall great commentary on our current culture, while providing closure to Neo & Trinity.
Also, the whole thing seems to be flying over peoples heads to the point where I feel like we didn’t watch the same movie.
