DIKALISMlana came correct with the concepts
but I dont know if it was time constraints, budget, or she tried a more loose filmmaking style
the execution of everything is terrible and this comes from a fan not just of the matrix but everything the wachowskis did
jupiter ascending is better directed than this

I was just stating something I've seen amongst a few ppl on here and mainly from reviews I've read where ppl specifically stated that they needed multiple viewings.

bro but I get it
the matrix became such an important part of our culture and our lives
seeing such a disservice to it, its crazy to me
I saw an interview from NPH saying the movie was shot like an indie movie, nothing was planned, even the fight scenes
I saw lana saying she shot a lot of this like sense8 and with the same crew, they improvised a lot
and I love sense8 but man that isnt the matrix, the matrix had some of the most brilliantly choreographed and directed scenes I've ever seen in cinema with tightly written dialogues
and now you have a shaky cam fight where neo says he still knows kung fu but all you see is air bending with a bum merovingian rambling about mark zuckerberg behind and it hurts

Lol they actually referenced “iron boy jr.” in the movie for people like you.
They “fixed” his charecter at the end but in my opinion he always carried the traits of what “Spider-Man” should be.
His suit never bothered me and it really was never the end all factor in any of the movies.

I loved the og matrix off rip without viewing it more than once. Revisiting it was purely off my love for it and wanting to know more.
Why TF would I do multiple viewings of a movie I hated the first time??
