because Buggs represents what the studios want from a sequel / reboot, she was probably a character ordered from the studio

she's the matrix equivalent of Rey in Star Wars or that new girl in Terminator Dark Fate , the whole strong independent woman for the studios to pretend they are PC and so they can recycle the story with a new character

even tho I enjoyed the concepts and the ideas this movie brought and I believe they deserve discussion I just believe that the final product is a disservice in a technical level, one thing shouldn't erase the other

I could definitely see the complaints for sure on the technical aspect, I myself wish the action set pieces were more enjoyable
