the hyperbole of talking about a game based on its previews isnt hate in itself . Some of the hate is of course corny but grouping all of it to the point you cant constructively criticize something because of those are haters is abhorrently stupid

Beast of reincarnation got hated on for many things. a 300 million dollar game vs a game freak first 3d game that is on gamepass are getting a different level of eyes. its not about console wars there because again game freak is not a first party company

Fable as I mentioned, gears and all xbox first party games this generation especially starfield got hyper criticized acting like they are absolute dogshit and they take risk. At times take more risk than they should which has lead to failure.

Didn’t read that part tbh I saw the first paragraph and sent it cause it’s just crazy how many games do it and people don’t make a big deal out of those compared to Wolverine doing it.

People arent watching beast of reincarnation gameplay to the same degree. Why would they complain about it if they havent even seen the gameplay . One game is 70$ hero game that is reaching the largest audience. The other is a gamepass game people can try for free with no stakes. The comparison is illogical and many of the same people if they saw it in beast of reincarnation during a chase sequence when you can see who you are chasing would say it looks silly or its a bit much

sentinnel fight yes its an early boss but when you are choosing to show certain footage not letting journalist record and only giving b footage thats how you are choosing to present a game you want people to buy for 70$ they will say things

Not everyone has gamepass and it’s on both consoles. If it’s a game that majority of people will most likely need to pay for I expect the same criticisms. You don’t get to pick and choose because a company hurt your feelings over physical discs or because the budget is larger lol.

you can literally see who you are chasing they dont show it at all parts of the game. If you possibly lose who you are chasing cool but to see that line at all times and not be able to toggle it off is weird. in previous games it with scent you would use that at specific times and player controls the toggle to look for clues or what have you in game design doing a direct line like a gps when the player can see who they are chasing I thought it was an accsssibility setting when I first looked at it. Its doing a bit much when you have to be willing to let a player fail. I have already heard people say during parts the game wants them to run they will stand still or the chase try standing still. it shouldnt look like "okay there is no fail state or the game will wait for me to catch up" in a chase obstacles help or "oh s*** I can leap to get him" or something in the player control where it actually feels a bit more thrilling chase

thats why when they release video like that it gets "what is this"
