Thanks. Appreciate you explaining
appreciate you listening and not dismissing immediately
Shazam, Wonder Woman 1, and Birds of Prey > Shang-Chi
idk about birds of prey
Way more memorable than Shang chi
I think that bus action scene and fight scene on the side of the building makes me wanna come back to Shang chi more.
I'll give you shazam though I love that movie
I was actually very hyped for birds of prey and thought both trailers were amazing. the movie is fine but a Harley solo movie should be an instant hit man. so much potential with that character that was not used in BOP.
also calling it Birds of Prey instead of harley when nobody knows who tf the birds of prey are was the worst marketing move i ever seen

Harley being the forefront of that film is my biggest issue with it. Not a fan of Harley as a main character at all & pushing aside Huntress & Black Canary in favor of her was a mistake.
That goddamn Deadpool humor

the way Margot plays Harley just fundamentally wrong
the whole movie should've been on the approach that the Harley Quinn cartoon had. that show is amazing and ironically there Harley acts like an actual human being, while Margots character acts like a cartoon.
top 3 villain in MCU that actually changes the main characters point of view (isn't just evil),
a story that has interesting real world themes isn't just bad guy vs good guy
best worldbuilding in a single MCU movie (asguard has had 3 movies and never touched wakanda)
top 2 soundtrack in an MCU movie (before black panther in 2018 MCU soundtracks were the blandest s*** ever)
amazing supporting cast, best in a solo MCU movie for sure. M'baku could've been a simple character but has a way more depth. Dora Milaje is a cool ass concept. brother/sister relationship with Shuri was instantly iconic.
great acting from Chadwick Boseman
It's a movie that appeals to every age and demographic. I was able to take my parents, my grandparents one time, and my little cousins to this movie. The MCU doesn't have a lot of movies like that. my grandparents would not wanna watch f***in Thor Ragnarok, too many movies require 15 other movies to watch.
only problem is the action in the 3rd act, and the fact that this movie got so hyped that people wanna act like it's garbage now to even it out.
Real s***. I took my dad to see Black Panther. That nigga don't even watch movies. Don't even remember the last time he stepped foot into a cinema, lol. S*** gonna be the same when the sequel drop.

I love her cartoon so f***ing much! Like it more than most marvel stuff tbh besides like the big crossover event movies

same lol. this why I have a problem with everyone just dismissing that movie

I love the impact it had and all you said but the film just disappointed me. Loved Wakanda and the characters but the story just never hit.
I was expecting to love it and my friends did so def not a reactionary thing from me
The people mad at how popular it was and dismiss people that like it are stupid tho
I'm looking forward to the sequel
Shazam, Wonder Woman 1, and Birds of Prey > Shang-Chi
I would say ZSJL, WW & TSS > Shang Chi. But Shang Chi is kinda boring just like BP, so it's not hard to top them.
I also prefer Eternals, but it has the same problems as always, the humour and the weak villain.

Harley was the only interesting thing about that movie. I would rather have a spin off about Bruce than a Black Canary one lmao

Bruce the hyena? Well, that’s what happens when they give Harley all the unneccesary attention. She got 3 movies being the focus, it’s time for that to end fr.

I still want a Harley movie, BOP had too many irrelevant characters in it.
She was the best thing about SS, BOP and one of the best things about TSS.
Watched the 1080p rip of this tonight and it wasn't that bad? It was different from previous MCU entries for sure but I don't think it was as bad as reviews made it out to be
