Was expecting a complete melon smash but him tearing his head apart like that is a GOAT MCU moment off rip
Actual ending was kinda weird and wack tho, the episode was good but the last chunk felt very anti climactic. Very in for more tho, loved the season
Yeah I’d say it’s prob the worst season but I still enjoyed it. Could have been way worse.

I think s2 was just as mixed, but I loved it all, whole thing
She willingly took Fisk as a therapist patient, so yes!
She sucks! lol
They write her like an imbecile, nowhere close to an accurate portrayal of a therapist. I’m going to take her last choice with the benefit of doubt tho
Fun season. Great finale. Peter Parker doing jack s*** during anarchy is funny as hell though
It’s so comic booky I love this s*** keep it silly. This an issue of daredevil b****!
Best ep of the bunch. Genuinely surprising moments. Idk if it’s shades of dad but Gandolfini is lowkey hot as f***, kid has presence.
muse was wack in daredevil
and all action was better in netflix show - other things i like
Still wondering how we're in a time where daredevil had a terrifier level gore moment on Disney plus and niggas still complaining. With punisher shooting cops directly in the brain like 20 mins before that
Like I lowkey don't wanna hear any more discussion about "make it R rated" ever again, it doesn't get crazier than that. We won

My boy Peter depressed out here I’m sure
vigilantes being outlawed in NYC definitely feels like a moment for like new captain america to come in or some s***
maybe Falcon 2 idk..
Iron fist s1 rewatch. I tried to give it some grace this time around but man
the writing was way too sloppy and ridiculous. And the way they wrote claire character was so annoying, "let's take these undying zombie ninja clan to the police"
Then you have them pretty much turning the Hand to a joke and ruining the buildup from DD season 1. No idea why Gao was grouped with the hand.
Wait, he's not actually BLIND? And he doesn't SPEAK AMERICAN? What the Helly
just found out born again is a thing
is it worth watching or another soulless cash grab by the mcu to try and save the already dying genre?
is this faithful to the original?

So the show has an interesting story about the production.
Originally it was going to be an 18 episode season that was almost entirely disconnected from the Netflix version. They shot 6 episodes then the strikes happened and they went back to the drawing board. It was then where they decided to scrap the rest of the season they were going to shoot, fired the original showrunners, and hired the showrunner who was behind the first season of The Punisher. They also brought in Benson and Moorhead (Loki) to direct the new episodes. With this, they also decided to make the Netflix show 100% canon to this one, making this essentially kind of Season 4.
Episodes 1, 8, and 9 (the finale) are completely from post overhaul and have a definite quality gap over the rest. They also shot some new scenes in the older material to tie it into the new material as well as the Netflix show. It definitely shows. Not to say the older material (2-7) is all bad. Matter of fact, episode 6 is actually pretty great and the only really weak episode imo is 7.
All this to say, it WAS kind of a cashgrab show, then they fixed it, and it overall is faithful to the original. Just don't go in expecting it to be as great as the original, but it's not a waste of time either.
Season 2 is going to be completely from the new team that retooled Season 1.
