Mahershala Ali has had over 4 years to prepare for this movie. If he doesn't do his own stunts in this I will consider him a failure.

I was kidding I agree. I also think it’s cool having an older actor (older black actor too) leading a hundred million dollar genre movie by a huge studio, kinda rare but these franchises need to stop being scared of older talent

At this point I think it should be a younger guy simply cause it’s been so long since the announcement that the initial hype over Ali playing Blade can never be recaptured, and now it just feels like “why have an older guy play a new version of the character when you could just have Wesley return?”
