black future month move on
dope rhymes but a totally pointless exercise.
Just introduce a new Black Panther as a variant as an end credit
Wouldn’t be surprised if this happened
Anybody want to talk about how f***ing corny the name of the movie is?
Don't understand why they didn't go with something like Black Panther: Wakanda & The Lost City of Atlantis or something.
U believed that?
There are people saying “ she a variant or going to be in it because of mit” Ned gained magical plot powers
I don’t know what to believe anymore
Why everyone else like Rhodey and Bruce banner can be recast but t challa gotta be killed off right after his big introduction? S***s stupid af
The character has too much involvement in marvel stories to just be thrown away
also such a iconic & pivotal black character should have as much screen time as possible
Im sure the kids (especially the black kids) who look up to Tchalla would hate to see their favorite hero erased
I know I would as a kid. all this variant talk is extremely unnecessary although that is a route they could go as long as it’s a TChalla that can continue his story properly
Recasting him is stupid to me he’s not rhoadey as opposed to applying some legacy to the character, lupita is a great actress & her story would be interesting I’d say, I doubt that’s what they’ll actually do though
Why throw away a whole character? One that has so much involvement in the marvel stories. this is ridiculous

This variant talk seems silly. How would it work exactly? T'Challa from another universe just pops in the MCU-616 universe? Like..this new T'Challa wouldn't even have the same lived experience as old T'Challa. Wakanda is just supposed to accept this stranger, lol?

Alright picture this
Post-Secret Wars, BattleWorld has collapsed and a T’Challa variant is stuck in the MCU because his world was destroyed. He is welcomed into Wakanda with hesitation and has to prove to the country and most importantly his family that he belongs.
That’s how I feel like they should approach it

Yeah not sure exactly how tbh
that’s why I think the variant stuff is unnecessary and causes more obstacles than not

The amount of suspension of disbelief or immaculate writing to make me believe a whole country (specifically Wakanda's royal family) would just accept a new and different looking version of T'Challa w/ different lived experiences as their own is hard to fathom. I'd rather him just stay dead, lol.
