Not to jinx anything but I doubt Sony will stick to that release window with no access to IMAX or PLF screens. Nolan's almost certainly got his contract for exclusivity already signed for IMAX hence Nolan's release date and casting announcements.

Feels like a marketing move to announce it for this date the same week Holland is cast in Nolans movie. I would be shocked if Disney/Sony don't move it to August and lose out on IMAX screens opening weekend for zero reason. August is pretty much empty.

Him having no friends or family but meeting a kid somehow and mentoring him like in the game would make a lot of sense
