CrimsonArkMan, Justin Lin would improve the action scenes, sure, but I want a “The Batman” level live-action Spider-Man movie.
A movie that is very clearly a passion project by a writer/director given total control to make the best film they possibly can.
This was their chance, a (nearly) clean slate for the character granted by the ending of the last one.
Man, I want a REAL ASS MOVIE with a singular vision seen through to the end.
Hell, even a movie with a Guardians of the Galaxy level fingerprint on it when make a big difference.
I mean, it’s f***ing SPIDER-MAN.
I been saying this and every time a spider man mcu movie people act like it was the best s*** ever til they saw something with more passion like spiderverse

idk why they can't give us a straight up Spider-Man movie, all 3 MCU Spiderman movies has had some type of distraction. Let's see him go to college, deliver pizzas, fight crime, swing around. The core tenets of his character.

Yeah, but if they plan on shooting in October it feels like they’re going for another “mouth piece” director.
Like, this looks like it isn’t going to be a Black Panther/Guardian’s/Batman type film where the director is there from day one of conception up until the very end.

I love Zendaya but this ruins the impact of the ending of NWH. They did the same s*** with the ending of FFH where they quickly resolve the impact of that ending too by brushing over it quickly
