He has the closest potential of any Marvel character more than Wolverine. I’d honestly say Hulk is the most recognizable comic book superhero behind the big three

But I also have a crazy Hulk take that’s gonna shake the countertops. Take out your drawers Mac they might fall out when I hit post

    I’m intrigued tho

this so fair and i had to look up a couple things to remind myself of the plot. and thanks for just talking about it instead of calling me a dunce lol

talking and thinking this through i think part of the feelings people have towards holland is a lack of acceptance that they don;t get to experience the "traditional" spiderman plotline parallel to the mcu run and they already got a taste of what that looked like. especially those of us old enough to have watch the others first. same with the norton hulk. so while this rendition takes some strong liberties that alter some things about the characters main struggles (secret identity, work life balance thats relatable) he still does a lot well as a spiderman!

I have my issues with the Holland movies too and really only liked Homecoming and this one tbh

  • It’s no coincidence that the Dungeon & Dragon / Game Night guys wrote Homecoming and it’s the best one of the original trilogy

  • Saw it on Reddit but Sophie Thatcher would be a dope Black Cat

  • Looks like it’s gonna break the record for Monday as well.

This movie could be #1 for the entire month and part of next month as well.

Only competition I see on the horizon is probably Resident Evil.

So I’m a lifelong hulk fan since I was five. When my brother was about to go to Iraq I held the first issue by Stan and Jack in my hands and read a wildly different Grey version of him, transfixed by the touch of horror it had. Been reading the comics, seeing the movies in theaters, the whole nine. I’ve dissected the psychology of Hulk, the themes, as I do with other works and characters I attach to

When I see the themes and takes on complicated heroism, science fiction, an ambition to bring grand, hulking fantastical figures to life that would have been thought impossible, Nolan strikes me as a director who would be ideal if they were picked to helm a Hulk movie. Do I think it would be likely? No but I’m not thinking about likelihood. Nolan is a blockbuster director who can ensure a billion plus at the box office mostly off his name, and brings theater spectacles that demand you see it on the biggest screen possible. He is a proven legend of comic book superhero cinema, and a master of large scale sci-fi

Christopher Nolan was born to write and direct a Hulk movie

Yep! I forgot to mention that. You think they wouldn’t green light that? Ha! But sadly it’s unlikely still

Hulk is why my favorite color is green

The green and purple make such a good contrast idk why they’ve avoided it so much in live action (besides Ang Lee)

Yeah it pops on the screen but they can’t be too committed to color all the time I guess. Find a good shade if the color is so egregious for some reason
