Spider Man is a hero that would kind of do best with movies, tv show cameos and ideally his own tv show. Trying to fit the amount of content they are in 2 hours is really tough. Because the character goes so far back. If DC had superman only appear in Superman movies I would say the same thing. S*** even in Superman 2025 I said it could use more Clark and metropolis focus. Its fair for people to want things to be able to breathe rather than potentially rush from plot point to plot point. Yes we know it takes place in MCU. Yes we know some cameos and crossover will happen and have happened.I was again watching the 90s cartoon before many of you were even born .

It doesnt change that it seems this one is more focused on Spider man and peter having a full focused story where he stands more on his own which is all some wanted. the "we have seen that done before we want mash ups" from people that didnt see any of the Raimi movies in theaters and are like 26 is cute but recongnize the last Spider Man movies where sony wasnt greedy focused on profit live action was in 2004 which was 22 years ago. Spider Man 3 and 4 which was cancelled sony meddled. Entire Amazing series they meddled and tried to rush to a big marvel like moment of mash ups. Same as they did with spider man 4 . They started trying to shove too much in and rush from vultress to sinister six
