When the movie comes out I will happily be wrong . Writing wise I don’t think an ai adds anything of value to the character of spider man . When I want him to interact with humanity not limited to Ned and mj which to me was part of the point of him being forgotten. As was happy not remembering him or anymore stark tech . Him making a lab and using technology to some degree dope . Him talking to Siri , ChatGPT or whatever in his suit takes something away from the character for me . If you love it dope . We are both paying to see the movie either way

Also only 10 years ago because they took a 5 year break . It’s perfectly reasonable for people to say why are they doing this

I don’t have an issue with him being a loner. I think a Peter separated from his two closest friends having a little bit of a loner arc is in line with the character.

But I do agree that the AI thing is corny and I’d rather he just talk to himself like he always has. I can already imagine the godawful dialogue and one-liners we’re going to get between him and his AI assistant and I’m cringing in anticipation.
