I love the first Holland trilogy, so I can't necessarily say Watts shouldn't return. But honestly I would like to see a different director take on this trilogy.
The teen comedy tone that Watts went for worked really well for those films, but unless Watts plans on giving this a more mature tone...someone else should direct these

Also I was kinda hoping Zendaya wouldn't have a role in part 4, it would take away from the impact of the end of NWH. At least wait until Spiderman 5 to bring her back, but it is what it is

And it's funny that the rumor is Miles might live in the same apartment building as Peter, because that is exactly how I've been imagining his character to be introduced

I thought a good intro for him would for Miles to be living with his newly widowed mother in that apartment....Miles' mom ends up asking Peter if he can tutor Miles because he hasn't been focused on school lately.
During the tutor sessions Peter learns that Miles is a Spiderman stan or something like that.
They end up forming a big bro/little bro bond, and Peter becomes a mentor figure for him

But don't give his powers until the 6th film. Just take the time to flesh out his character during the 4th and 5th film, so audiences can gain a connection with his character before he even becomes Spiderman.
Then once he gains his powers in SM6, audiences will already love his character and will be hype for a Miles trilogy

Hope they save miles and zendaya for later if they plan on doing another trilogy. Give us black cat

I think framing this 4th film as more of solo journey is good. Especially coming off the 3rd film, it will be nice to see Peter working alone, attempting to figure out this new life of his.
