Opening night crowds are good when they’re not entirely obnoxious

I still have fond memories of TFA opening night imax

This was before assigned seating was instated at my theater so I got in line at 12pm with some friends and we camped out and that line was long af by 3

7pm rolled around and we were in our seats having a good time watching the BvS and Civil War trailers

Then when the Star Wars theme hit we cheered. Mainly because it was the first Star Wars movie in a decade and the novelty of it all.

It was fun. I know they’re annoying but like the energy of a packed theater opening night with fans makes me feel good tbh

Like we’re all there to enjoy what we’re there to see.

Now second viewings I prefer to be more normal but that’s me
