Ryan Meinerding needs to stop putting the military uniform inspired connecting lines on EVERY costume he designs. It works for someone like Cap cause he’s a soldier but with Spider-Man, it only accomplishes making his suit less magical and iconic than it should be

Civil War really brought the magic of seeing the Romita Spidey in live action with the model/mask/webbing/colors but that’s undercut by the unnecessary lines.

Laying down and sleeping for first hour then your alarm goes off

I really did fall asleep during spider verse

The Romita design is literally the perfect suit

With all that being said, Civil War Spidey > Homecoming Spidey look

S*** don’t even look natural

mcu suits look too much like literal skin

animation looking like some mid pack

Its not mindblowing animation wise but everything else is all the great spidey/peter elements, plots, dynamics, themes, tropes spun together in a really great way

its on uk netflix too which is like a dream come true
