Mark Moschinoi got into spider-man during the j michael strazcynski run, which was a period in marvel where they were really focused on legacy and making the characters feel older and at a new stage in their lives. Peter around this time was being characterized like he was in his mid 30's and was a teacher; he and mary jane had been separated and were trying to make their marriage work again etc. and it was a really interesting take on the character to me. however when they switched him over to brand new day and ultimately the dan slott run i just felt like it was a weird regression for the character to go through as they dumped a lot of his character development to make him "feel younger" initially i thought i could just kind of weather the storm but with 700 it was just painfully clear that they were going to focus on what i liked spider-man for, for the foreseeable future so i jumped ship and havent kept up since then
started reading the j michael strazcynski run,and im loving it so far man,ty for putting me on

did you know he auditioned for Spidey when Holland got it
as much as i think he could have done well with that Peter Parker role i’m glad he didn’t because now he has time for stuff like Dune.
and if there is a role for him i want regarding Spider-Man characters it would be Harry for sure

Glad they kept the lizard design tbh.
Makes it more believable that that’s the lizard from TASM but i do wish they gave him a lab coat and some pants at least
