Even in the ORIGINAL comics he has looked up to other heroes and ultimately decides to be his own hero
Those other films did not have the ability to have other heroes in them and Ill bet if they did it would’ve been similar to what we have now
That’s interesting. For me my frame of reference is always the animated show and the og movies so I guess I just am more used to the idea of him getting started on his own, I felt like that origin was more inspiring

I don’t think you get my point, I know that that ends up being what happens but it’s stupid that it’s ever even a question. Does Toby Spidey have to sit there and figure out to be his own hero all movie, no he just does it because that’s what heroes do. The idea of even raising the question is insulting to the character
OK but Tobey isn't in a cinematic universe blablabla also its very much his initial conflict to become a hero after his uncles death etc
