Andrew’s Peter was more cooler, had Gwen and never met MJ in his universe, fought Lizard, Electro, had his universes Norman die and had Harry turn into Green Goblin after trying to fight a disease etc and we actually got an explanation for his parents backstory
The only thing that’s similar between the previous two franchises is that Uncle Ben died lmao

Even then Uncles Ben’s death was handled differently in all 3 movies lmao and seeing as how Ben’s death is vital in the role of Peter becoming Spider-Man yeah it is kinda weird that he’s not that important to Toms Spider-Man.

Tony plays that role in the MCU and its honestly a bit more refreshing than Ben.
