I remember this being the case for a lot of trailers. One time I remember when I was working at AMC being hype for the Child’s Play trailer (Chucky is my guilty pleasure franchise lmao) and seeing that they sent us the trailer. I tried to watch it early but the key wouldn’t unlock til 12:01am that night. So at the end of the night after we closed, I ingested the trailer into an empty theater and watched it. I didn’t record it but it’s a possibility that someone could do it with this.
