Jesus Joseph and Mary Smith look at those McFarlane and Bagley eyes
Those aren't Bagley tho

Bottom left has to be early 90s Bagley, middle right McFarlane

They are very similar but those are Larsen
But yeah people often confuse them
this s*** ageing like milk bro
absolutely trash movie
Had to run it back and read first reactions to this
Usual suspects was Givin it a 10/10
Some things never change
Movie aged bad after a rewatch. Still some really high highs but there's a lot of "for the sake of plot" moments

My disappointment when I sat in the theatre and the leaks I seen on KTT about Dr Strange f***ing up a spell because Peter wouldn't shut tf up was playing out right in front of my eyes
What hurts this movie the most is the forced beats in some of the scenes to hold space for audience reaction
Worked on opening weekend but not at all at home or any other subsequent watch
I’ve seen 48 movies this year and this was bottom 12. It’s just so lazy and pandering. The movie treats the audience so dumb and knows it will work every time like parents just waving a rattle in front of a baby’s face to make them gasp and laugh.
I love how J.J isn’t doing the same comic relief bits like he’s usually does in other films. Kicking Pete right in the chest while he’s already on his knees

tell me what's good about it
Peter/Aunt May scenes
Norman & Otto
How they essentially flipped this into becoming an alternate origin story for the character while intertwining it with previous iterations of the character
The pacing
And Spider-Man was a big part of my life growing up so seeing the OG two back on-screen with the new version is nice, 10-year-old me wouldn't believe this movie existed
It's Fan Service: The Movie, yes, but I think this is one of the very few comic-book movies reliant on fan service & callbacks that actually does it well

You notice how most of what you view about good from this movie is the spider man movie that came before it ?
