I fear this movie won’t hold up for me if I watch it again. Went to an IMAX screening opening weekend and the crowd was amazing, but even then I had some mild problems with a few things and maybe once the „nostalgic fan“ aspect of that experience is gone, the issues become more noticeable.

Still a great film, the only thing that bugs me is how they kind of fumbled the first act. If they would’ve added 30 mins to the movie and dedicated most of it to Peter being on the run at the beginning of the movie/courtroom scenes i don’t see how it wouldn’t be the greatest superhero film oat

this movie was kinda... okay? It had some serious problems which nostalgia really papered over. Almost all the fight scenes were dope but save for Andrew Garfield's first appearance and Willem Dafoe killing it as Norman Osborn, there was little else that really stuck with me. Kinda disappointed tbh, after all the hype.
