Shang Chi and Wakanda Forever are worth the watch

Shang Chi has some of the best action in the MCU, and it seems like he’ll have a pretty important role in the future of the MCU. Wakanda Forever has some nice visuals and good performances, and is definitely the most emotional MCU film

Ronin was much more enjoyable in a very traditional super hero villain way. high evolutionary was just a rich f*** with some tech that ended up being pretty mid.

High Evolutionary by far the best Guardians villain. And one of the best MCU villains in a minute

it’s so hectic with the camera shaking and planet exploding the face cam really adds to the tension

When was the last time Marvel did a really punchable villain? High Evolutionary deserved more hands f*** him

It was so nice to see them again

Best Marvel movie since Endgame, not even close

However, wish we didn’t have to sacrifice funny/present Rocket in order to get his phenomenal origin story… Missed him the whole film

And there were more songs in the finale/credits than the entire movie… Thought we’d get at least one classic needle drop fight scene like in the previous two films.

But any film that starts with Radiohead and ends with Bruce Springsteen is okay in my book

Just wish Marvel would start taking some serious storytelling risks… Like have a villain win for real in a film, more than Thanos in Infinity War… really subvert our expectations a bit. Do a movie with limited action until the end of the third act, where you blow your entire budget on a mind-bending setpiece.

But I had a blast. I got my Bachelor’s degree yesterday, went out to dinner with the fam, and saw this with my lil sis in a Dolby theater. Never sat in one of those before. Lowkey clears IMAX (the gigantic real IMAX still goated tho)
