Now for those who would be mad that they’re “gender swapping” the character, they’re not.

She’s not playing Norrin Radd, she’s playing Shalla-Bal, a female Surfer from another universe. This same character is also Norrin Radd‘s wife.

She’s such a great actor and I love silver surfer . I’m sure there was Male auditions that weren’t as good as hers

I doubt even that. She’s playing a specific girl character who’s a girl in the comics. This character was probably in the script to begin with and they just auditioned for her.
