This true. I feel like back then they didnt compare it because Marvel was a juggernaut and had a whole universe already built, while DCU was barely starting and had his 2nd movie. Now cuz Marvel has released many flops and DC is rebooting they are somehow on equal ground I guess

it sounds crazy now but ppl used to mostly compare quality of movies back then and in that regard mcu beat dc nine times outta ten (while having its regular set of flaws). these days i feel like noone talk about that, otherwise people would tear the new superman a new one
