i dont know about yall but this was my most enjoyable of the d+ shows. pacing was great, action was good and was funny! thought the finale was good too, surprised by the hate itt

best disney+ marvel show to date imo. still has a lot of the same problems with endlessly trying to set new stuff up instead of being self contained but think overall it did a better job of doing the basics like good characters, performances, setpieces and pacing (sagged a bit with one of the middle eps but didn't end badly). the two co-leads worked really well together imho which was a big plus. pity renner probably isn't gonna be as involved anymore

show still had issues with having characters having some slightly inexplicable motivations but not as bad as the other shows.

some random thoughts on the finale, good and bad:

• some of the editing in this ep was noticeably kinda janky, idk if every other ep is like this but i really noticed it for fight scenes and stuff here. kate jumped onto the piano in the toy store at one point and it looked so awkardly inserted like she wasn't even standing on it once the camera changed straight after lol. commit to these fun nods or don't bother!

• hope we see more of vincent d as kingpin. it's a pity these shows are always gonna be more PG than the netflix ones cos he has an amazing physicality in the role, seems like a waste he can't crush dudes skulls or w/e anymore. i think they did reasonably well at making him out to be a tank in the kate scene, though. like it was pretty obvious he was just doing that plot armor pushing stuff lol but it wasn't too egregious. i will say that it would be better if he just made a clean getaway cos we haven't seen enough of him in this universe to already get so many Ls in a row

• that suit was tight on jeremy renner

• ending was cute!

Some of the seasons outside of Daredevil were hit or miss but those Netflix teams for the most part really understood Marvel street level NYC in a way the MCU doesn’t seem to get yet at all

And I’m already missing the fight choreography after seeing whatever that was with Kingpin. They gotta bring the old team back for Daredevil I can’t

Finale was alright I guess, I loved the Kate X Yelena parts. Kinpin was a lil too cartoony for me, I think his hat was throwing me off or something.
